Thursday Night Football (TNF) gives fans an extra NFL game every week. In 2026, almost all TNF games stream on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s everything you need to know.
Where is Thursday Night Football on?
Prime Video has the Thursday night game in almost every week of the 2026 season. The exceptions:
- Week 1 (Sept. 10): The 49ers–Rams game in Melbourne, Australia, was on Netflix.
- Thanksgiving (Nov. 26): The night game, Chiefs at Bills, is on NBC and Peacock.
In return, Prime Video also gets the Black Friday game: Broncos at Steelers, Friday, Nov. 27, at 3:00 pm ET.
How to watch on Prime Video
- Sign up for Amazon Prime (about $14.99 a month or $139 a year in the U.S., with a free trial for new members), or get a Prime Video-only plan.
- Download the Prime Video app on your smart TV, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, game console, phone or tablet.
- Open the app on Thursday night. The game appears on the home screen. Kickoff is usually 8:15 pm ET.
Can I watch TNF without Prime?
Yes, if your team is playing. NFL rules say games on streaming services must also be shown on local TV in the two teams’ home markets. So if your team is playing on Thursday, check your local channel.
You can also watch live on a phone or tablet with NFL+.
